OMG I didn’t believe it until I went to the official BB UK site and she is actually greyed-out and marked as removed. We won’t be seeing Emily Parr’s arse on show in Big Brother again. What I don’t get is that she claims to be highly intelligent. Now I appreciate that it is hard to sound clever with the way she speaks, but this provisional (no idea how accurate it is) tanscript of a coversation between her, Charle and Nicky just makes her sound like a complete idiot (rather than actually racist). I guess her depature will be dealt with in tonight’s 10pm show. She was apparently called to the Diary Room at 3:30am to be informed of the decision and was removed from the house without any further contact with the other house mates, who were informed at 9:30am. WARNING language below may offend.

Emily: (referring to Charley dancing/pushing her hips forward) You pushing it out you nigger.
Nicky: (shocked laughter) Em, I can’t believe you said that.
Charley: You are in trouble.
Emily: Don’t make a big thing out of it then. I was joking.
Charley: I know you were… but that’s some serious shit, sorry.

Lastly, I have heard rumours that the next male contestant to be introduced well be one of those loud, mad wannabe gay queen types. Anyone able to verify?

It’s not been very exciting. No surprise they put the first man into the house on Day 3 and his name is Ziggy; an ex-boybander and male model. On day 5 he had to share a dinner with all 11 of the woman, one at a time. Charley is really annoying me, them and everyone as far as I can tell and it seems she is favourite to go in the first eviction under nominations made only by Ziggy. I have heard that BBLB revealed that Lesley dicussed leaving the house with Ziggy. At 60 years old she is the oldest housemate in history (non-celebrity). I think she is just really bored.

According to The Mirror newspaper today, the first 12 housemates entering Big Brother UK in 2007 will all be female! This apparently an effort to spice up the Channel 4 show in season 8 and they will leave the contestants until Friday before they introduce just one man initially. I think it’s just a simple change and nothing to give the voyeurs the nude showers scene etc they crave for from the reality scene. It will be really interesting to watch that many women alone without any men to play up to or flirt with. It seems the bosses are after fun an romance. Well we will see shall we. If the gossip about footballer’s cousins Natalie Rooney and Charlie Richardson going into the house are true then it will definitely be entertaining.

The new Pirates of the Caribbean movie was released this weekend and it has hit the boxoffice with a storm. It has the potential to be the biggest opening weekend in history but it is up against the second weekend of the new Shrek (The Third) and let us not forget Spider-Man 3 is still hanging in there as strong competition. The gorgeous Johnny Depp returns as the amusing character Captain Jack Sparrow in this very long 2 hours and 47 minute beefster. Anyway it is clearly on target to break records with $58 million in two days already. Last year’s Pirates offering opened to $135.6 million and was the biggest opening weekend in history back then, which apparently broke the previous record set only 6 weeks before that by the last X-Men movie. I can’t help it, I am obsessed with Big Brother and almost all reality television. I’ve been following the goings-on in Australia and now I have started finding out all the rumours for the UK BB coming up in a few days. It was Pete Bennett and his rumoured big parts that won last year. But compared to the previous years there was a distinct lack of the party atmosphere and any substantial nudity.
